Ohio Energy is looking for coaches to add to our organization. We currently have teams at 8u all the way to 18u. Established in 2011, Ohio Energy is a non-profit, volunteer driven, girl's competitive Fastpitch organization out of northeast Ohio. It is the mission of Ohio Energy to be resolved to commit ourselves, our athletes and parents to the advancement of Fastpitch softball through a competitive, structured yet fun environment. All coaches will have year round access to our 6,000 sq. ft. indoor-turfed facility with cages located in Mentor, Ohio

We are looking for coaches that will focus on developing our athletes to prepare, think, play and respect the game.

Our coaches are expected to:

• Provide an environment that is safe, rewarding and positive. An environment that will encourage our athletes to challenge themselves both physically and mentally to become better than they ever imagined.
• Instill in each athlete the traits of true leadership and sportsmanship not only to each other but also to all coaches, teams, parents and community.
• Instilling discipline, dedication and hard work in everything, we do.
• Organize and coordinate all team functions, including practices, competitive schedules, travel, and fundraising.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, productive and effective team environment on and off the playing field.
• Promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The ideal candidate(s) will have an appropriate combination of education, training, and experience working with athletes. The successful candidate will have the knowledge, skills and judgment needed to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with athletes, parents, coaches and community members.  The coach will report directly to the Ohio Energy Board.
